With over 25 years of experience as a chef and restaurant owner, Irie brings a deep love of food, wine, and hospitality to JDM Estates. Raised in a family that celebrated gathering around the table, his passion for flavor and quality ingredients led him from top restaurants in Chicago, Hawaii and Napa to the vineyards here in Northern California.

At JDM, Irie bridges the gap between farm and table, overseeing tastings, events, and culinary experiences that highlight the exceptional wines and certified organic olive oils grown on our Windmill Vineyard. His background in sourcing premium global ingredients now informs his belief in what’s grown right here at home.

Sergio Villanueva

Ranch & Viticulture Manager

Sergio Villanueva has been the heart of Windmill Vineyard since 2011. As the Viticulture Manager at JDM Farms, Sergio oversees every step of cultivation from soil health and irrigation to pruning, pest prevention, and harvest. His expertise ensures that the grapes and olives grown here meet the highest standard: not just certified organic, but deeply nurtured from root to fruit.

Sergio returned to farming with a purpose: to grow with integrity and never cut corners. Under his leadership, the vineyard has won gold medals and earned recognition for both its wines and its intensely flavorful organic olive oil.

But Sergio doesn’t just manage the land, he listens to it. Every decision is guided by patience, precision, and harmony with the environment. He often says, “When you walk through these rows, you feel it—the vines are alive, the trees are happy, and they’re giving something back.”

Sergio’s passion for organic farming is rooted in a deep respect for people, animals, and the land. His dedication is why every bottle from JDM carries more than great flavor; it carries the story of care, balance, and trust.

Jeff Morgan

Founder & Proprietor

Jeff Morgan is the visionary behind JDM Estates. Raised in the countryside near Woodland, Jeff always dreamed of returning to the land and restoring something meaningful. When he discovered the neglected property that would become Windmill Vineyard, he saw not just what it was, but what it could be.

Driven by a deep respect for nature and a belief in doing things the right way, Jeff founded JDM Estates with a clear mission: to grow organic grapes and olives with care, integrity, and purpose. His goal wasn’t volume, it was quality. Every decision, from organic farming to hand-harvesting, is rooted in that commitment.

For Jeff, wine and olive oil are more than products; they’re experiences. “We want people to taste what we feel here: the harmony of the land, the care of the people, and the beauty of what’s possible when you respect nature.”

Through JDM Estates, Jeff has created more than a brand—he’s built a place. A place where the trees, the soil, and the people work together to produce something truly special. And a place that, long after his time, others will continue to enjoy.
